Few automobiles capture theimagination quite like the award-winning Streamliner C-16. Inspired by thelegendary Mercedes-Benz Streamliners of 1937–1938 and painstakingly handcraftedby Glenn and Kalle Billqvist, this remarkable machine stands as a tribute tothe golden age of speed, innovation, and coachbuilding artistry.

Created over more than 8,000 hoursof dedicated craftsmanship, the Streamliner C-16 combines engineeringexcellence with breathtaking design. Its hand-formed steel and aluminium bodystretches an impressive 6.2 metres in length and 2.2 metres in width, creatinga dramatic aerodynamic silhouette unlike anything else on the road today.

At its heart beats the vehicle'sdefining feature: a fully functional straight-16-cylinder engine, believed tobe unique in the world. Built from two Buick inline-eight engines and fed byfour Stromberg carburettors, the 8.2-litre powerplant produces approximately200 horsepower and delivers a soundtrack unlike any other. Sixteen individualexhaust pipes pay homage to the aircraft-inspired aesthetics and engineeringspirit of the pre-war era.

Built on a 1938 Chevrolet truckchassis and featuring period-correct mechanical components throughout, theStreamliner combines authentic vintage engineering with reliable drivability.Rolling on 21-inch steel wheels fitted with Blockley tyres, it commandsattention wherever it appears.

Since its completion, theStreamliner C-16 has been invited to some of Europe's most prestigious historicmotoring events, including:
